Beast: The Primordial

You are a Beast, and you must feed. Your Hunger drives you, and your Hunger might damn you. Indulge too lightly and your Horror will take matters into its own hands, roaming the Primordial Dream for sustenance and awakening murderous hatred in spiritually weak individuals. Feed too deeply and too often, and you become sluggish, sacrificing the raw edge of Hunger for the languor of Satiety. You must decide how to grow your Legend — will you be the monster incarnate, the thing that all other monsters fear? Or are you doomed to die under a Hero’s sword?

So...who have tried it and what is this game?

Looks like the most primordial creatures of legend, such as Dragons, Krakens and Rocs, or even modern-day primordial monsters like Hulk, can only exist in a subdomain of the mages' Astral Plane. Their primordial astral forms seek out and Devour ordinary mortals, who then wander the globe looking for mortal fear to feed upon.

So they prey on ordinary people, giving them nightmares and feeding - literally - off their fear. And if they feed too much, cause too many people to suffer, then Heroes spontaneously emerge, drawn instinctively to seek out and kill the Beast.

They have one advantage: they have a power to make other supernaturals (vampires, werewolves, changelings, every species except mortal hunters and the Unchained) recognise them, and even accept the Beasts as friends. So Beasts can be found hanging with vampire coteries, exchanging recipes for biscuits with Seers of the Throne, discussing hunting tactics with Uratha, attending parties held by Sin-Eaters and so on.

Sounds like a strange fusion of many themes used in previous games. Only natural, I suppose.
