Little Coraline has moved away from her friends to move to a new town and a new apartment.

The main floor of an old house.

Upstairs is a man who trains mice and in the basement two old women who used to be in theatre.

And her between with parents too busy to pay attention.

So along the way she meets a neighbor boy there and eventually she discovers a forgotten door long since wallpapered over leading to... an apartment just like hers and a second set of parents like her parents -- only better because they pay attention to her.

But, this is very like a fairy tale.

Told by Brothers Grimm or Hans Christian Anderson in the very old fashion in fact.

So there is something here in this magical alternate apartment with a second set of parents who are... too good to be true.

A wonderful story and beautifully crafted characters and a fabulous finish.

This one is a keeper.

Changeling the Lost fans take extra note! -- This film is good for ideas for a Lost game as well.

Awesome movie. I only wish I could have seen it in 3-D. But alas...

I have the Blu-Ray pre-ordered, and I believe it said it had the 3-D version on it.

Was it the "red/cyan"3d?

Please tell me that if it was it was better than every other full color "3D" movie that depended on the red/cyan format.

Pray, pray pray that it's better than that sham of 3D, "spy kids 3d"

Even my 9 year old hates the 3d version of that movie (although he likes the 2d movie)

I have that 3-D version...it wasn't that bad.

But, hopefully it'll be same 3-D that used on the dvd version of Journey to the Center of the Earth.

The ad for it at my Walmart store says it has the 3D version with 4 glasses.

My wife and I saw it in 3D and loved it!
