I see someone already took my topic idea. hehe. Oh well, it still applies! I've been a lurker for some time. I have really enjoyed reading the forums. It is really nice to read other perspectives on things. Just when you think you have everything figured out, someone comes up with a new idea that helps put things into focus. I really like that about this place. I've been playing Werewolf: the Apocalypse for many, many years. I remember when renown was measured in hundreds and thousands rather than just temporary and permanent dots. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy Vampire, Changeling and some Mage, but they never captured me the way Werewolf did. It is a hell of a lot of fun to play and i'm sad that it is no longer in print. That doesn't mean the games stop, though. Anyway, for those of you who may be interested, I run an offline/online Werewolf game called Rage Across New Orleans. It has been running offline for about 7 or more years. Online, it has been off and on for about 3 or so. It is a play by post forum game. Dice rolling is hard to do online, so we just play through the drama. There is combat, but we let creative writing do all the work. It has been a fun and successful experience thus far. If you want to read, or even join in, you can find the forum at http://www.rano.lucajo.com. We are currently trying to remodel our wiki so that the rules and character rosters are clear. Expect that to be finished very soon. Come play with us!
