  4. Clan suggestions - Clean-cut lawyer

Gangrel would probably give you the biggest contrast. And entirely possible, not picky embracers.

Bart Gorman Innocent as he may look, the last couple of decades Bart Gorman has been a perfect little killing machine. His Sire has had him extensively trained in the art of assassination. Since then he functions as the handler of his loyal Childe. Travelling from city to city, taking on contracts that fit Bart's talents. He originally found him in a mental institution. The catatonic little boy he snatched from there already went through quite an ordeal before then though. Bart was born the youngest of three siblings. Together with their parents Richard and Mary they lived out in the countryside. Father was a veterinarian, as Bart hoped to be himself one day. From a very young age he already had a passion for all living things, wanting to care for them. So given a choice the toddler would hardly leave his father's side, always observing and looking to assist. This was especially the case when Bart was six and the family dog wasn't doing so well. Bobby the old labrador was close to the end of his life. So Bart's dad decided to end the animal's suffering. But unsure how to proceed with the youngest Gorman constantly hovering over him. "Bobby is very sick. I'm going to give him a shot to let him sleep and get better" he explained. Planning to come up with a story about how the dog moved to a far off farm, later on. As was typical for Bart, he wanted to be involved every step of the way. His father agreed he could help. Carefully he guided the child in preparing the injection, finding a vein and administering the dose. He pulled it off flawlessly, very impressive for someone so young. Richard Gorman was so proud, knowing what a great vet his son would one day make. A couple of months later was a difficult time for the Gorman family. Although he himself was spared, his mother and two sisters had a bad case of the flu. Bedridden, not functional at all. This put Richard in a difficult position. His veterinary practice meant he had to make regular house calls. But he couldn't leave his sick family or young son alone. So he did his very best to either reschedule appointments or let a local colleague fill in. And yet eventually he had an emergency he just couldn't get out from under. A local farm had the lives of too many of its cattle at stake, he needed to be there. There was no choice but to leave Bart in charge of the house for an afternoon. His father reassured himself with the thought he had raised an exceptionally bright and mature six year old, he could risk it. "Take good care of your mother and sisters. I'm relying on you son." "You can count on me daddy." With that they said their goodbyes, the six year old was now the man of the house. Fifteen minutes in his mettle was already severely tested. His sick family members were having coughing fits that sounded truly awful in the young child's ears. However he stayed surprisingly calm. Getting them water or anything else they asked for. Soon his mom, Amy and Elisabeth settled down again. Exhausted, all three fell into a deep sleep. Bart was still deeply uneased though. Worried about their health, about how he was doing in his care of them. He'd hoped they'd be a little better by the time his father returned. That didn't seem to work out so far. Maybe they needed medicine? Bart retrieved what he needed from his dad's office and first went to Elisabeth. At 8 years of age she was the youngest of his two sisters. A real girly girl, her room was all pink and My Little Pony. As she lay there sleeping, tightly holding a teddy-bear, Bart took his sister's wrist and administered the medication. Next he moved on to Amy's room. With her 13 years, she was the boy's oldest sister. She was at rest as well, surrounded by all her rockband posters. Bart also took Amy's wrist, injecting a hefty dose into her veins. Lastly he arrived at his mother's room. While he was injecting her she started to wake up. "What are you doing dear?" But she soon slumped and asked no more questions. Bart remained at her side, holding her hand. Not noticing how her breathing and hart-beat grew ever fainter. Just hoping that the medicine would work just as well on his mom, Amy and Elisabeth as it had done on Bobby. His father had told him how happy the old dog was on that faraway farm now. An hour later Richard Gorman arrived home. He found his son still holding the hand of his motionless wife. Soon noticing something wasn't right. "Mary, Mary wake up. Please wake up! Please!" "It's like with Bobby, after his medicine he first slept a lot before he was all better" Bart volunteered an explanation. "What?" his father started to weep. "I gave mommy, Amy and Elisabeth the medicine that cured Bobby" the boy explained further. Richard quickly ran through the house, checking each of his daughters' bedrooms. After which he returned to his son, who was still holding his mother's lifeless hand. "You killed them, you killed them all" Richard shrieked and wailed. "You're a murderer! A monster! You killed your family. You'll burn in hell!" After the outburst the broken man regained his composure and notified the authorities. Bart meanwhile didn't say or do anything. Just kept sitting there in utter silence at his mother's side. Image: A little boy with dark hair and lifeless blue eyes. He might have been described as cute once upon a time, these nights creepy is a lot more fitting though. His pale skin and general listlessness lets people assume he's quite ill. Dressed in simple but neat clothing, generally jeans and a shirt. Roleplaying hints: Do exactly what your new daddy tells you to, nothing more. Don't screw up. You can not make mistakes, not again. You don't know, can't feel why any of it matters. It just somehow does. What else is there in your existence? 6. Listing Steampunk Movies

Going by the Science Fiction with a 19th century setting definition of Steampunk I'd add: The Adventurer: The Curse of the Midas Box: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1376213/ (not good) The Amazing Screw-On Head: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XbsDvGtTRWU (awesome!) Cowboys & Aliens: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0409847/ The Extraordinary Adventures of Adèle Blanc-Sec: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1179025/?ref_=wl_li_tt

  10. Changeling Name Game

A Wizened Chatelaine of the Spring Court. It looks like a beautiful girl trapped in a Santa suit with bushy beard and everything. But the facial hair and corpulent body is all to real. Darling Nikki no longer remembers what its original gender was. He could be a fat middle aged man given the face and hands of a young girl. Or maybe she was originally a girl given a completely unfitting body. The mask which also seems affected by a serious case of androgyny doesn't tell. The Trodsky
  11. Changeling References

I recommend this site: Humanoid Sighting Reports It contains thousands of reports of supposed encounters with strange creatures. A lot of them are about greys, but even more are about a variety of other strange creatures. Good source for inspiration I think.
  12. Fae Children

I have, I came across this a couple of times. But long ago, so I don't know where exactly anymore. Allthough I suspect one of the places it was mentioned was the Elves Encyclopedia by Pierre Dubois. But apparently people back in the old days thought this was the reason fae had to switch their own for human babies.
  13. Who Has the Coolest Real Name?

My name is Alex Lefevere, Alex after my great grandmother who was called Alixia. They were first planning on naming me Alexander, but my great grandmother wanted it shorter. So its Alex now. Lefevere is French for The Smith, or so I'm told (my French sucks).
  14. Best of the Worst Vamp films

Your talking about Shadow Zone: The Undead Express and I really don't agree with you about it. If you keep in mind that its movie for kids it really isn't that bad. I've seen it some years ago and I actually really liked that movie. Its one the few more recent vampiremovies that fit with V:tM without having a Dracula copy. The worst vampiremovie I've ever seen was The Thirst. One of my biggest problems with it was that it was a vampiremovie without actual vampires. It also got boring after while so I never saw the end of it.
