  5. Changeling the Streaming

Come say hello. I'm waltzing around in there under my more modern moniker, KungFuFenris. It's an amazing little chronicle, with people giving some amazing performances. Three out of four players are actors, the last one is a stage manager. Every sunday at 06:00PM EDT
  6. Just wanted to drop a link to this amazing podcast that got me thinking about Changeling in a lot of different ways that I usually did. (Link in the image.) These guys have an amazing perspective, and often manages to draw in a lot of the different voices that makes CtD such a great game. As well as offering places to improve, and discussions where one can draw some amazing story ideas. Give them a listen :-)
  7. Chapter 2 - Mexico and Belize

Not necessarily. Take your time, unless you really want to show off that amazing work.
  8. Well. Before even getting the damn book, I decided to take the new stuff for a spin. And this resulted in me trying to make the Changeling campaign I always wanted to make. A campaign about heroism in the face of oncoming Autumn. About community. And about the oppression that a lot of people exchange for safety. It's called "Concordia has Fallen". And if we ever manage to get some more sessions, the title will be explained. https://thenarrativeexploration.wordpress.com/2018/02/18/ctd-concordia-has-fallen-s1e01/

  12. Chapter 2 - Mexico and Belize

Yeah, this is kinda amazing. I'll be trying to get my players sent to the lands of the south in a while.
  13. And so we return again

Thx boss. It's been a while, and I'm so thrilled to see this place up and running again.
  14. So where do we stand now?

Yeah. Agreed in that it's good that we got this place back. Especially as there seems to be a new resurgence in WW lines, even in other media. In regards to NuWW? I know quite a few of the people involved in the company, so I'm not anywhere near objective. But they're dedicated to doing good work, although a lot of their ideas are not all that compatible with the current outrage culture that is pretty prevalent these days. Also. They made some HORRIBLE mistakes, but as far as I can see, they're trying to avoid falling into more pittraps.

Creative Commons imply that it can be freely distributed. BUT, I suggest putting down some monies to the good folks who made the damn thing. Ya know, for us to get supplements.
  20. Obligatory St. Patrick's Greetings

Well, happy St. Patrick's Day here from the Scandinavian part of the world. I've given myself the privilege of celebrating Paddys Day with some Irish ex-pat's friends of mine in Aarhus at the local Irish pub. And right now, I'm not really sure if I manage to type this up without making the obligatory drunk spelling errorr. And there's my beer, got to go.
  21. Back from my wedding.. thought you guys might like the photos

Those are really good. And quite the snazzy outfits you guys got married in. And Venice is an awesome city. Although my last impressions of the city are quite a blur, so you guys might have gotten a better impression than my drunken head got.
  22. Awakening complaining

Wait a minute? There's still people trying to get sense out of Skel's Awakening-rants after all this time? It's like trying to put out a forest fire with your own piss. It won't make anything better if you try, and you might end up hurting yourself in the process.
  23. Signs of the Moon Discussion

This one is much awaited in my circles. Auspices are often overlooked in favor of tribes in my Forsaken game.
  24. 20 Questions

Okay, this is going to take some time explaining. Last week, I launched my Vampire-Chronicle, "The Eternal Dance", which is a game dealing with my own fictional vampire-setting, but rooted in the ideas of White Wolf, in regards to Vampires and their physiology and ways of sireing new vampires. The plot revolves on four vampires, all embraced in the 15th Century at the beginning of the Renaissance. My ideas is to play through their background in the next five hundred years in various scenes, all supported by Troupe-style play, and thereby interconnect the characters through the events that brings the ancient Houses of the Vampires to an end to gives rise to the chaos of the modern age Vampires. So, these characters are going to be elders. Old Vampires with memories of more than 500 years of unlife and powers way beyond any mortal. The reason why I'm posting this on SnE is that I need to fill the holes of each character's memory. During the Prelude, my intent is to have maybe 6 scenes in 1513, then jump forward in time to 1568 to have more scenes. In short, I need help in coming up with 20 questions on what the character have been doing in the meantime, that the players can answer each time we change decade. My hope is that the answering of these questions can help my players better grasp the Damned creatures they call their characters, and in the meantime, have a mechanical effect to portray the change even the Damned undergo with time.
  25. Gamemastering Techniques.

Okay, here's the deal. I gotten interested in using alternative ways of gm'ing in my games, mostly to see what I can gain from them, that I couldn't get from the old normal way of chattin' heads and passin' notes. So, I'd like to hear from the rest of you. Have you used any fancy ideas and smart narratives to craft a better story?
